Students Found to Pick Up Science Outside School

Hmmmmm.... it looks like lots of money was spent to discover something many of us (particularly homeschoolers) have known for years. Education Week gives a nice summary of the report.

There is “mounting evidence,” the study says, that nonschool science programs can nurture students’ and adults’ interest in pursuing scientific careers.
