Obama puts spotlight on education deficit

Obama set an aggressive goal for education in his speech to the joint session of Congress.  He wants the US to be producing the most college graduates in the world  by 2020.


This is going to be a challenge:
"By one measure used by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, in 2005 the U.S. had a 76% high school graduation rate, putting it behind Hungary, Greece, Ireland and the Slovak Republic. 

Before we can get everyone in to college, we need to get them out of high school.
