Houston area has boost in those wishing relief duty in schools

An interesting result of economic meltdown...

School administrators say the unusually high caliber of the applicants — some with MBAs and other prestigious advanced degrees — allows them to be choosier when assigning substitutes to classrooms. For schools, it’s at least one upside to the sour economy.
